Cedric Lanappe outdid himself last Friday night. The 18 year old is one of the most important and influential components of the Mauritian fashion industry, for good reason: he perpetually seeks to break traditional make-up techniques, daring fantastic combinations through colour and accessories. Neon, glitter, feathers, Swarovski: you name it, he's done it, reinvented it.
Pigmentation, his make-up show, perfectly captured and displayed Cedric's aesthetic, and it was a massive success. I have never seen Hennessy so full of positive buzz and enthusiasm before, except for the launch of Artifice in June.
