Emma Grigoryan's editorial spread featured En Mode's February "The Icons" issue (also on PhotoVogue - Vogue Italia) is absolutely stunning and demands to be shared, and is the focus for today's blog post. I love how the luxury of the clothes and jewellery contrasts with the setting - a movie star not in her usual place, but alongside the everyman, in his concrete urban jungle. The colour play is wonderful too - rich reds and midnight black on muted greys, for example.

Tom Ford:
Yes, some said that "his frame" had passed, but I don't believe it has. He is still remarkably brilliant - its loud, yes, but witty - there is no subtlety here. Maximalist, fun, drawing inspiration from all over the world but in the Tom Ford way.
Christopher Kane:
"Grace under pressure" is what one critic mentioned, I think it sums it up. The pressure is because French luxury conglomerate PPR has recently invested in the brand, and so the collection had to pay off. It did.
